12ouncessugar snap peaswashed with ends and strings removed
½tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
¼teaspoonsalt(kosher or sea salt)
¼teaspoongarlic powder
⅛teaspoonground black pepper
sesame seeds and sesame oil(optional garnish)
Instructions
Add the snap peas to a large bowl and toss with oil and seasonings.
Place the peas in the air fryer basket and air fry on 400F for 7-9 minutes. Shake the basket after 4 minutes to ensure they cook evenly.
Serve immediately with sesame seeds and a drizzle of sesame oil (optional).
Notes
Wash and dry well. Rinse the snap peas in a colander and dry well before seasoning. If the snap peas still have water on them, they'll end up steaming in the air fryer and not get as crispy.
Avoid overcrowding. You don't need to air fry the snap peas in a single layer, but you don't want to overcrowd your air fryer either as the snap peas won't evenly crisp up.
Be careful not to over cook. You don't want the snap peas to lose their crispness, so keep an eye on them. They air fry quickly!
